What this policy covers
This policy covers information collected through this website and when you contact us. Information you share during a client project is covered by the agreement for that project.
What we collect
- Details you send through the contact form: your name, work email, company, what you'd like AI to do and, if you choose, when you'd like to start.
- Emails and messages you send us, and notes from calls you book with us.
- Basic technical information, such as your IP address and browser type, which our hosting provider records to keep the site secure and working.
- No analytics or advertising tracking is currently enabled on this site.
How we use it
- To reply to you, arrange calls and send proposals you ask for.
- To keep a record of our conversations with you.
- To protect the site from spam and abuse, including limiting repeated form submissions.
- No information is collected for website analytics.
What we don't do
We don't sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We don't use it to train AI models, and we don't use advertising or marketing pixels.
Who we share it with
Our hosting and email provider, GoDaddy, helps us operate this site and handle inquiries. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
- Messages and contact details: up to 24 months after our last contact, unless we start working together.
- Technical access logs are managed by our hosting provider.
- No analytics data is collected.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to get a copy, to correct it, to delete it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We extend these rights to every visitor, wherever you live.
To make a request, email privacy@civware.com. We'll confirm we received it, may need to verify your identity, and will respond within the time the law requires. You can use an authorized agent, and we won't treat you differently for using your rights.
Global Privacy Control
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to opt out, and analytics stays off.
Children
This site is for businesses and isn't directed at children under 16. We don't knowingly collect their information.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections, to protect the information we hold. No method is perfectly secure, so please don't send sensitive information through the contact form.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page and note any significant changes.
